Two lovers travel between
the present and the year 9000 in this amusing independent sci-fi
release. Like all twenty-somethings, Jason and Kaila are trying to “find
themselves.” But their search is complicated by a time machine,
a small alien named Zymo and a mysterious labyrinth that puts them
in touch with robotic “Time Terrorists.” A fun movie
with a retro look, “Time Travelers” features the voice
of Tom Baker (Dr. Who) as “The Time Guard” who ushers
Jason and Kaila back and forth between the slacker haven of home
and the dark labyrinth of the future. “The Time Travelers” is
a sci-fi movie with heart.
